#52 Submitting Your Business to God

Welcome to podcast 52 as SJ introduces the new series of Submitting our businesses to God.

The past 4 weeks leading up to the conference we hosted a webinar series about how to create a God centred business that makes money.

It has been a very powerful series and women have gotten so much out of it & I will share the testimonials with you another time.

I was praying to God about what we need to focus on the next couple of for our wider CWIB Community of the next couple of weeks and for about 2 weeks I got nothing.

Today, in my God time, (as I was posting about it on Instagram) God put the word back in my heart and mind again: submission. He’s not finished with this topic yet and and still has some work to do in this area.  After this everything has fallen into place with our planning.

Now the webinar series is still available for you to watch. All the replays are on the website; all you need to do is sign up! We’ve popped the link in the show notes, so all you need to do is sign up and we will send everything to you inbox.

Basically through this series you can learn literally how to include God in your business, what that means and what benefits you’ll receive from doing it.

Over the next couple of weeks we’re going to talking more about it.  You’ll also be hearing from different women as we interview them about them submitting themselves to God, their stories and also some other surprises that we will leave to each podcast.

Topics we’re going to be talking about are…

  1. Submitting your business to God and what that looks like.
  2. Letting go of control so God can do His thing.
  3. Different ways to involve God in your business.
  4. What to do when you and you’re business feel like you’re in a bit of a funk.

I encourage you to sign up for the webinar or if you’re a member listening and you haven’t already watched, please watch it.

We’ve put it into PDF’s too if you’re more of a reader.

This week I want to leave you with these questions…

Are you giving yourself permission to submit yourself and your business to God?

Are you thinking beyond what’s next week or today and are you getting in the way of God’s progress?

I will leave you with these questions, and have a think about them. As we continue with this theme over the next couple of weeks because if we get this bit right, we can build really great Godly businesses. First we need to look into our own hearts and minds and progress from there.

Founder Sarah-Jane Meeson was given a word to inspire women. Since then, Sarah-Jane dreamed about how she could inspire women and unite them together. She knew it was going to be for God and she knew she had a passion for business and just to see people thrive and be all that they can be: no matter what past they’ve had, no matter how much money or where they come from. It’s about them being the best person they can be for God and to help share their story of how God has worked through their life and business.

After chatting with a girlfriend and sitting on the idea for a while, God kept prompting her heart to bring this movement of women together. After some time, Sarah-Jane knew what she needed to do; she bit the bullet and now here it is. Christian Women in Business – a movement of Christian women pushing forward for God in their businesses … and it’s great!
