I Restore Stuff - Upcycled Furniture & Home Decor

Her Story
I'm a furniture painter & restorer who loves to upcycle and repurpose old neglected pieces and bring them back to life again. My blog was created for thrifty DIYers and home renovators to encourage them to make transformations in their own homes, with educational tutorials, tips and inspirational makeovers. As a mother of four teens, and wife to a busy self-employed audio/video guy, life can be crazy at times, so painting furniture is a bit like therapy for me! My blog began out of a love for taking things (mostly furniture) that have been left for ruins, bound for the dump, kicked to the curb – and giving them a new lease of life. There’s such great satisfaction in being able to bring something out of the storage shed, create a new look, and give it a place of honour in the home once again. I am amazed by the revelations I've received on this whole process of "restoration" and the metaphors for life that have been reality for so many women I've met since I began this "hobby turned business" journey.
Her Wisdom

I'd register my business name & domain name BEFORE my blog & social media presence grew to a significant number! Yep, learned that lesson the hard way.
