Her Story
Hi I'm Stace! I’m a wife, mumma, fitness instructor, wellness coach, a school teacher and the heart and visionary behind my business, The Healthy Happy Soul. I'm also a lover of sunrise beach walks and a good cup of tea. Life is so sweet, but things haven't always been this way. I've suffered with chronic fatigue syndrome, been underweight, depressed, self-destructive, a reckless party girl, a teenage mum, fat, resentful, bitter, self-image focused and fitness obsessed... Yep, really. It's now my life’s mission is to empower and inspire the Body of Christ to value and care for their health, in spirit, soul and body. I'm so excited to be a part of this community and hope that what I add in this space encourages you amazing ladies to live the fullness of the life that God has created you for...healthy, happy, whole and free!
Her Wisdom

In all honesty, despite the rough ride my life has been at times, I don't think I would do anything differently. Every experience, the highs and lows have brought me to the sweet spot I live in right now; and I'm so grateful for that.

I believe that every experience is an opportunity for growth (yes I know that sounds so cliche). Life is just one big experiment; the only time the experiment fails is if we fail to learn.

Realising the power of perspective. When I realised that I get to choose which lens I view life through it created such a powerful shift in me. I don\'t think it was a particular event or situation, but rather when all of life was looking pretty dark and gloomy I had two choices - to be bitter, or to be better. I chose to be better. Or at least I chose to see the good in each experience and challenge I encountered.

For me this is a continuing journey. In Romans 12:2 it says to 'be transformed by the renewing of your mind.' Transformation is a process not an event, so for me it's a journey of constantly checking which lens I'm choosing to see life through.

JUST START! Stop waiting until you think you have enough, know enough or are enough. If we wait until we reach that place to get started, we'll be waiting for a long time. Embrace the fact that doing business is a journey, both in a professional and a personal sense, and commit to just doing your best.

GET SOME GIANTS AROUND YOU. I'm so grateful for the mentors and prayer warriors I have around me. Ones who believe in me and what I do and are so willing to offer their wisdom, feedback and push me to be better.

BACK YOURSELF.  As mentioned above, I'm so incredibly grateful for the incredible mentors I have around me. However, remember that your mentors don't carry YOUR vision and weren't created to do YOUR assignment. They can only share what they know. So take their advice on board and then take it to God and ultimately follow His lead, even if that goes against wise counsel. I didn\'t trust my own instincts enough in the early days. I back myself more now....
